Microneedling with SkinPen

Please keep in mind these treatments do require downtime, and in most cases multiple sessions are required to see results. Microneedling with SkinPen is an elevated Microneedling experience for both the Client and Technician. The mechanics of this machine are classes above other competitors machines due to its FDA clearance, precision, and safety features. Its adjustable needle depth allows for customized treatments, minimizing discomfort and promoting optimal results!
Fun fact: Every SkinPen cartridge has a lockout feature. Once a cartridge is attached to a SkinPen device, that cartridge can NEVER be used again! Just goes to show you how SkinPen goes over and beyond to ensure procedures with their devices are top notch quality in every treatment room around the world!

Microneedling
Microneedling is a physical exfoliation and a powerhouse treatment that will require either a Skincare Consult or the ok from your Technician beforehand. This Treatment does involve post treatment down-time, so prepare for that but it is extremely effective and is a huge hit in the Treatment room! Microneedling improves fine lines & wrinkles, acne scarring, hyperpigmentation, reduces pore size, tightens and lifts the skin and will improve the skin’s overall appearance and texture. Microneedling creates tiny punctures in the skin using multiple fine needles, with an adjustable depth and speed. These micro-injuries stimulate the body’s natural healing process, leading to the production of collagen and elastin, which are essential for healthy skin. The Technician will apply a topical numbing cream before proceeding, making the treatment less painful. The remainder of your day should include staying home and caring for you skin. The day after Microneedling, your skin will be a little red, and raw but you can go to work and show your face if you feel comfortable. We recommend no makeup on the skin for 48 hours, and no exercising or extreme sweating for at least 1 week post Microneedling. Please reach out to us if you are interested in Microneedling!
So which advanced treatment is better for me?
That’s a hard, and almost impossible question to answer. The skin responds differently to physical and chemical exfoliations so we recommend trying both and seeing which treatment your skin responded to better. Both are very effective treatments. They are safe, and performed using medical grade, high quality products. We find alternating between the two treatments a few times has proven to be very effective as well!
